Here’s why, the pepper floats on top of the water’s surface tension, it’s kind of like a layer of skin that keeps tiny stuff from sinking. Soap breaks down this layer, so if you secretly place a tiny drop of soap on you finger, you’ll get this magical effect. But your friends don’t need to know all that.
